Brief

Shiseido, a renowned global leader in beauty, recognized the challenges of maintaining expert knowledge across their expansive brand portfolio.

Seeking a solution to upskill their staff, particularly in the travel retail sector, Shiseido envisioned an immersive online platform that could transform learning into an enjoyable, effective, and interactive journey.

The aim was to empower Beauty Consultants with the expertise to provide precise product recommendations, consequently boosting revenue opportunities.

Solution

Enter "SHISEIDO SKYTOPIA" – an explorative, interactive learning metaverse tailored for Shiseido's beauty professionals.

This digital landscape, divided into dedicated spaces for each brand, seamlessly combined visual learning, gamification, and downloadable resources.

The immersive environment allowed Beauty Consultants to attend live talks, view pre-recorded videos, interact with brand ambassadors, engage in competitive knowledge testing, and even experiment with product ingredient combinations. All of this was set against a backdrop of larger-than-life beauty products, rendered in exquisite high-definition detail.

Accessible via both browsers and mobile devices, "SHISEIDO SKYTOPIA" served as a dynamic platform for Shiseido's employees to deepen their understanding and connection to the company, breaking down traditional learning barriers through a visually captivating experience.
